Live Your Dream Thank You Card

Today's card was made as a thank you for a friend who recently bought my son a gift. The photo is not brilliant...really must find my camera! The greeting in the scallop circle reads "Thanks".

• Ink: Regal Rose & Certainly Celery
• Accessories: Certainly Celery 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, oval punch, scallop oval punch.

Sketch Saturday Card #52

This is the card I made for the Sketch Saturday Challenge number 52. The card uses a Penny Black stamp Just Buzzin' By. the background papers are from the Tea Party dsp. The sentiment embellishment reads Birthday Blooms and is from Craftwork Cards.

Today's Card

I have a card to share with you all at last. This quick card was made using the Playful Petals set and the Tea Party Designer Paper. I simply stamped the images onto Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery cardstock, then layered up the flowers.

Missing Blogger..

I haven't been blogging for a while as I've been away in hull on a goat farm...with no internet! Couldn't wait to get home and upload all the cards I'd made while away but...my desktop computer has decided to break, so no pictures as my laptop doesn't have a photo card slot. Stamp With Us 1st Challenge

Stamp With Us is a new blog set up by three Stampin' Up! ladies, who aim to bring us classes retreats and challenges, you can find more information here StampWithUS. This is the first challenge I've entered so far. The challenge was to use this sketch:







This was the card I made using the sketch. The base layer is made using one of the papers from the Tea Party collection. The main image comes from Bundle of Joy and is stamped in bashful blue and coloured with markers in barely banana and pretty in pink. The greeting comes from Nursery Necessities.

Lovely Simple Rose

This card is the first one I made with my newest stamp set A Rose is a Rose which I treated myself to when I reached Bronze 2. I think this stamp set is gorgeous, I know I say this about most sets but this truly is. Something wonderful happens when you stamp the second layer and it just comes alive. I can see this being a set I will use many, many times.

April at last

So glad March is over, seem to have spent all my time in hospitals, dentists and doctors surgeries...none of which I like. Finally we're all sorted out now so I can get back to business. April 1st saw the launch of Stampin' Up's! first mini catalogue...which is gorgeous! This is the first card I have to show you:
